War's Echoes: Amidst the battle's thunder, a poignant reflection on sacrifice, love lost, and the inevitable dance with destiny. 🕊️🌌

Standing amongst a thousand other men in queue,

Going over the battle plans, giving it another view.

As the soldiers marched into battle with this head held high,

He was giving his life to serve his country; he heaved a sigh.

He fought bravely along with all the other men,

Not knowing when they are going to be invaded again.

The enemies had tried to set fire to the crops and grains

But God was merciful and granted us the rain.

Now we swore to protect our lands from these cowards,

Getting all the women and children to safety to house.

Now all that was left was to teach them a lesson.

There was no time left for any questions. 

He took a moment to take it all in.

Confident in his belief that this was a win,

When suddenly an arrow pierced his heart,

The life from his body began to slowly depart.

As soon as he realised that this was his end,

He was reminiscing his wife in her last year.

A pure soul, she was taken from him too soon,

Now he would join her and they would ride to the moon.
