Midnight Madness: Battled ghosts, danced with shadows—forgot my playlist. Quest update: Survived, still searching for Wi-Fi. 👻🌙

I carried on for as long as I could,

The moon held high in the dark woods.

Tired and hungry, I longed to rest,

But I could not, I had to clean up this mess.

Many moons ago, I bravely accepted a fight,

Unaware that my strength could not wrong a right.

Fought until I had blood and sweat all over,

Realizing that opponent was always sober.

Love and naivety blinded my mind,

I accepted the fate they chose for my kind.

For a brave knight never runs away from dare,

But this one was like going into the lion’s lair.

To spend the night in the Haunted forest,

Was to succumb oneself to a night of no rest.

The hollow winds and the sinister animals,

Any escape would no longer be rational.

All through the long and gloomy night,

Strange whispers and sightings were always in my sight.

As the sun began to rise and shine,

The only life I cared about was mine.

I could not help but wonder,

Whose sounds I heard that made me shudder.

Which beast or untamable creature that I heard

Which made my hair stand on edge and my toes curl?
